Two Business Development Managers required for position based in Cheadle Hulme
Working within the Business Development Team, your role as Business Development Manager will be to develop new business within the PLC sector, drive forward the business opportunities and build effective new relationships with major networks in both Insurance, Bodyshop along with major Insurers. Positioning them as a leading player within the Claims Management market.
Expectations of a Business Development Manager
Proactively make new appointments and create new business face to face and over the phone.
Identify and self generate new leads to create and develop new business opportunities.
Closing business opportunities either by phone or face to face meetings across the UK and when necessary overnight stays.
Manage your own diary to ensure that your time is spent efficiently and cost effectively, to ensure new business opportunities are achieved in a timely manner.
Comply with company policy, procedure and best practice in security, legal and regulatory compliance, including compliance to international and national quality standards
Safeguard customer information at all times
Undertake any other duties as reasonably required
To work flexibly in the interests of the business
Responsible for meeting prospective new clients in order to secure new business as well as maintain and develop existing contracts to retain business.
Exploit new business opportunities to enhance the performance of the business at all times.
Be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the overall teams success.
Providing MI to the Head of Business Development in a accurate and timely fashion.
Skills and Qualities
Highly motivated self starter and new business hunter.
Excellent communicator capable of negotiating and influencing customers both internal and external.
Applicants must have good working knowledge of the insurance market, competitor activity, legal and regulatory frameworks.
Educated to degree level or equivalent you will have insurance sector exposure, the key emphasis will be on new business in the PLC market and a real focus on growing the business.
Ability to meet targets and deadlines under pressure.
